Privacy Policy for The Hat Game

The The Hat Game application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”) is provided by PureIT Bartosz Pawlak (hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator”). This policy sets out the data processing principles for the web and mobile party game designed for Pass & Play gameplay (one shared phone passed around players).

2. Scope and Purpose of Data Processing

The Application is built upon complete user privacy protection (Privacy by Design):

  • Zero Registration: The Application does not require registration, login, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personal identifying information.
  • Local Processing: Gameplay is strictly local. Team names, turn timers, and selected categories are processed entirely locally on the user’s device.
  • No Sensitive Permissions: The Application does not request or access location, camera, microphone, or contacts.

3. Cookies and Tracking

The web version of the Application does not use tracking, advertising, or analytical cookies. Any data saved in the device’s local memory (e.g. interface language, sound preferences) exists strictly to operate the game upon user request.

4. Third-Party Services

  • The Application uses Google Firebase Hosting to deliver static web assets.
  • The Application does not use ad networks (zero ads), user profiling tools, or behavioral analytics.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All current game state information is reset when a match concludes or the game is reset. Users can clear locally saved preferences at any time by clearing browser cache or uninstalling the app.

6. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to amend this policy in the event of new features or regulatory updates. The most current version is always available on the Administrator’s website.
